Construction update from Vienna – the ground floor walls of Roomeo are already visible on the Ludwig-Reindl-Gasse side, and the final earthwork on the Senekowitschgasse side has been completed. Half of the apartments at Roomeo have already been sold – construction is right on schedule. Let’s keep it up!

Yesterday, the ZIMA Vienna team, together with numerous guests—including District Mayor Ernst Nevrivy, project partners, and clients—celebrated the groundbreaking ceremony for the Roomeo residential project in Vienna’s Donaustadt district—a true milestone! We are proud to be working with STRABAG on this major project and excited that it’s finally getting underway!

Demolition on the property is complete, and excavation work is in full swing!
February 2026
Work is getting underway at the Roomeo construction site. The first excavator is already on the property, marking the start of the construction phase—see: https://youtu.be/C6ontaBJylY. This sends a strong signal to everyone who values safety and reliability. The official groundbreaking ceremony is already being planned—we can’t wait to see what’s in store!

Romeo has now received its building permit! With STRABAG serving as the general contractor and one-third of the apartments already sold, construction can begin as planned in January 2026!
