Johanniter-Unfall-Hilfe e.V.:
Johanniter-Unfall-Hilfe e.V. is an organization of the Protestant Order of St. John, whose most important concern for centuries has been helping people. With around 25,500 employees, 65,000 volunteers and more than 1.5 million supporting members, Johanniter-Unfall-Hilfe is one of the largest German aid organizations. Since its foundation, its tasks have included rescue and medical services as well as civil protection and first aid training. It also provides social services for children and young people, including our more than 450 daycare centers, as well as care and nursing for the elderly and sick. The Johanniter are also involved in humanitarian aid abroad. More than 4,200 employees work in the Bavarian Johanniter regional association, more than 7,000 people volunteer and more than 255,000 supporting members support the organization.
