Handover of the
Johanniter Quarter Gersthofen

Gersthofen, 03.03.2021 - On 02.03.2021, ZIMA Immobilienentwicklung GmbH officially handed over the Johanniter-Quartier Gersthofen to Johanniter. The care-oriented residential complex with 82 apartments will be ready for occupancy from April. The "assisted living" with around 6,500 m² is part of the versatile "Römertor" residential and service quarter of ZIMA Immobilienentwicklung GmbH.

All those involved in the project met for the official handover in beautiful weather. The care-oriented residential complex, which forms part of the "Römertor" quarter in Gersthofen, was completed six months earlier than planned. "We are delighted that we can now take over the Johanniter Quarter Gersthofen. The cooperation with everyone involved was also great. I would like to thank them once again on behalf of Johanniter," says a delighted Marion Maisa, who has been involved in the project since the start of planning.

The west wing of the "Römertor" quarter was built specifically according to the wishes of Johanniter. This building complex contains 82 barrier-free apartments, a day care center, an open lunch table and a social center as well as commercial units that complement the overall concept.

"We are very pleased that with this project we have not only created a cross-generational neighborhood for young and old, but can also meet the demand for new forms of living," says Dieter Stähele, authorized signatory and Technical Director of ZIMA Immobilienentwicklung GmbH.

"The cooperation of everyone involved, be it ZIMA as the developer, Krämmel as the construction company, HanseMerkur Grundvermögen AG as the investor and landlord and the other parties involved, always went hand in hand and without any significant complications - despite the uncertainties caused by the pandemic towards the end of the construction work. This was the only way we were able to complete and hand over the property six months earlier than expected," concludes Dieter Stähele.

"All we have to do now is carry out some minor interior work, add a little Johanniter flair and then the doors will open for the first tenants from April 1, 2021. 35 apartments are already let and we are receiving new inquiries every day," says Marion Maisa.
